Introduction to Raw Material Mill

Raw material mill is mainly used for grinding the final products and raw materials in cement plant, and also for grinding all kinds of ore and other grindable materials in metallurgy, chemistry and power industry. It can be used in open-circuit flow grinding as well as circulating ring grinding formed with powder concentrator. Raw material mill is the key equipment for re-grinding the cement clinker after it is distributed by the system and primarily crushed. Performance Features

As for different types of raw material mills, we use proper driving method and the main driving methods include edge driving and center driving. Inside the cylinder, there are new type classification lining board and standard ladder lining board, which increases the grinding surface of the materials, and the classification effect is better and the follow-up maintenance and spare parts changing are easier. The new partition structure uses adjustable lifting board and fixed lifting board which are easy to install and maintain. 

Working Principle

When the cylinder of the ore grinder rotates driven by the transmission gear, under the inertial centrifugal force, the grinding media will stick onto the lining board on the internal wall of the cylinder of the ore grinder and rotate together with the cylinder. The grinding media are brought to a certain height, and then fall down under the gravity, and during this process, the grinding media will crush the materials inside the cylinder, and at the same time the grinding media repeatedly move up and down inside the rotating grinding mill and will have sliding and rolling movement, so that the grinding media, the lining board and the materials to be ground will grind with each other, so that the materials are crushed to a finer granularity.
